Mara Lucini, in her 23 years’ experience at HP, has held several exciting and diverse positions, including various roles in Total Rewards, Staffing, HR Operations, Internal communication for Italy and as PMO lead for the HP Compaq merger.
Today, Mara is the EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) Talent Acquisition Director who created HP’s current talent acquisition strategy and delivery operations across more than 30 countries.
She manages the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including all staffing and workforce planning activity across EMEA, workforce management, redeployment program, mobility / relocation. Mara has successfully led the internal and external hiring channels, graduate and intern programs, social media, employer branding and recruitment operations. In addition, she leads key regional diversity, equity, and inclusion work and drives talent attraction to support the company’s digital transformation journey. Mara is leading a team of 35 recruiters across EMEA (+12,500 employees).
Prior to her current role, Mara held various HR roles. She was the Business HR Partner for Software Business Unit for the Nordics & Benelux sub region and as well Talent Acquisition manager for that geography.
Mara has experience managing the EMEA Recruitment Channels team focusing on vendor management, preferred supplier list, talent attraction and brand management. She has coordinated the EDS integration for EMEA in terms of suppliers’ selection, contracts, strategy, training, etc.
She is the point of contact for key internal stakeholders (EMEA Business HR, Sub Region Staffing Managers, Global Staffing/business Leaders) during the recruitment outsourcing phase and then with in-house recruitment.
Separately, Mara has also managed the ramp up of HP’s WW Strategic Sourcing team (15 employees across EMEA – in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic), and is responsible for assessing critical demand profiles and building talent pools.
She holds a master’s degree in HR & Communication from MIP Politecnico in Milan (Italy) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Literature (Overall Score: 110/110) from Pavia’s University. She was also awarded the Erasmus Scholarship (Year Abroad) at University College of London (UCL).
Mara is married and has a beautiful daughter, she loves scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
