FHRD will process all personal data in strict confidence and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation EU 2016/679, and the Data Protection Act, Chapter 586 of the Laws of Malta.
The personal data collected through this registration form will be processed for the purpose of administering delegate registrations, confirming bookings, issuing event-related communications, managing attendance at the Annual HR Conference, and, where applicable, processing requests for MIA CPE accreditation.
The personal data processed by FHRD may include:
Name and surname;
Email address;
Mobile number;
Postal address;
Name of the organisation represented;
ID Card number, only where MIA CPE accreditation is requested or required.
The legal basis for processing this data is that it is necessary for FHRD to process and manage your registration and participation in the conference. Where ID Card details are provided for MIA CPE accreditation, these will be processed solely for that accreditation-related purpose.
Your personal data will not be used for any other purpose unless you have given your separate consent or unless FHRD is legally required or permitted to do so.
Personal data collected for the purposes of this conference will be retained until one month after the conference, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised, unless FHRD is required to retain certain data for a longer period due to legal, accounting, audit, accreditation, or regulatory obligations.
FHRD will not share your personal data with third parties except where necessary for the organisation of the conference, accreditation purposes, payment processing, venue/security administration, or where required by law. Any third parties processing data on behalf of FHRD shall be required to process such data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of your data, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and, where applicable, data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
