BIO

Etienne Gatt is the Director of HR, PR, and Communications at the Malta Gaming Authority. Over the past years, he has spearheaded the digital transformation of the HR function, paving the way for a more agile and efficient workforce strategy. Together with his team, Etienne has implemented several strategic projects, including leading the adoption of a Competency Framework – a project aimed at embracing a skills-based approach to learning and aligning employee development initiatives with the strategic objectives of the organisation. This forward-thinking approach has enhanced employee engagement and retention, as well as enabled the MGA to develop more efficient talent management strategies.

Etienne holds a Master’s degree in Counselling, a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computing from the University of Malta.
